Job Description

Seeking a Paid Media Manager. You will be responsible for the execution of search and display advertising across all paid media disciplines (SEM, Display, Paid Social, Native advertising, etc.) You will manage pay-per-click activities, provide PPC recommendations, measure and analyse ROI and leverage insights from Google Analytics to make changes to campaigns as required focusing on key metrics like ROI, on-site conversions, cost & click performance, impressions/total reach, and website traffic.


Role base will be a combination of home office and office in London area but likely to be limited in office time as the position will report to North America.

 

What you’ll be doing:

 

  • Be responsible for developing, executing, optimising and reporting #paid #media programs such as search, programmatic, native advertising, and paid social campaigns including #Google, #Facebook, #Instagram, #Twitter, Yahoo! and international platforms
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on campaign performance and optimisation.
  • Build campaign strategy aligned with marketing objectives that span between direct response and branding; analyse our client’s business goals and translate them to a digital marketing plan
  • Evaluate budget levels and campaign set-ups of new and existing client accounts, and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Set up and work with the development team to ensure that technical set-ups for paid social campaigns are in place, i.e. placing pixels, setting up conversion goals, setting up Ads Manager accounts, etc.
  • Perform daily account management of pay per click accounts
  • Provide execution-based PPC recommendations
  • Measure and analyse the effectiveness and ROI of all PPC activities
  • Manage moderate to large scale PPC accounts in a variety of business verticals
  • Generate new paid search campaigns, ad groups and develop keyword lists
  • Leverage insights from analytics platform to make changes to paid search campaigns
  • Generate Weekly and Monthly client reporting for Client Success team and develop actionable insights for clients using performance data pulled from Google Analytics.
  • Oversee relationships with digital vendors
  • Work closely with the Content team to provide strategic analysis and support on what is performing well or not. This will inform creative decision making.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on efficient campaign management and reporting tools
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, display network and other areas of paid search to meet client goal.
  • Assist in the development of effective ad copy, provide analysis of A/B tests for ad copy, content and guide creative on ideal assets
  • Be responsible for setting goals/targets for the team per client

Management

  • Manage tactical PPC initiatives for the client’s business; maintain a focus that deliverables and plans are in line with client’s long-term goals
  • Manage team resources and assign responsibilities / initiatives to team members
  • Work with members of the team to develop recommendations and tactical plans to increase ROI
  • Ensure team delivers on assignments and team goals

Research

  • Stay current on changes and best practices in PPC
  • Take initiatives regarding social content development, blog writing, group learning, etc.
  • Continually look for ways to increase the group’s efficiency

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • 4+ years of agency-specific experience with a concentration on paid media strategy, execution and reporting
  • Strategic and creative thinking – always focusing on innovative, but measurable client solutions
  • Adaptable team member who can manage multiple client accounts and internal teams
  • Strong work ethic defined by quality-first client work and attitude
  • Ability to work with both senior leadership and junior level staff on project work
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with financial data and budgets
  • Ability to analyse complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve client challenges
  • TradeDesk experience, and DoubleClick Campaign Manager experience
  • Knowledge of 3rd party bidding tools
  • Google AdWords certified
