Job Description

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of around 10 stores within the South West (Bristol area). You will be responsible for overseeing the performance of individual stores, driving sales growth, managing budgets, and leading a team of store managers. This role is critical to maintaining high standards of customer service, product quality, and operational efficiency.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to store managers within your area to achieve sales targets and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, compliance with company policies, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure that stores are properly staffed, trained, and equipped to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability within your area.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for each store in your area, closely monitoring expenses and revenue to meet financial objectives.
  • Take proactive steps to control costs and optimise operational efficiency.
  • Uphold and promote a culture of exceptional customer service within your stores.
  • Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work closely with the supply chain team to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimise losses and wastage.
  • Ensure that stores adhere to all company policies, including food safety, health, and safety regulations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor store managers and other team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, motivation, and growth.
  • Prepare regular reports on store performance, sales trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management.
