The Role
The Merchandiser will build a global range for various categories which has commercial and brand relevance in all markets, based on a world class cross-channel merchandising practice globally. Furthermore, you will continuously review sell-through and share feedback with the Business Unit Creation thus helping to improve the product creation going forward. These are 4 new roles which report to the Head of Merchandising
Your responsibilities
Manage the key strategic category merchandising priorities in line with the brand strategy
Support shaping the global ranging strategy and ensure implementation
Provide a framework for key merchandising analysis techniques (proactive and reactive) and drive the implementation of category merchandising components
Collate competitor feedback from markets and report to the Head of Merchandising
Support head merchant in conducting competitive and price analysis and price point matrix analysis
Contribute to the design and implementation of a set of key merchandising reports that help evaluate the category business goals and ensure roll-out
Conduct range review of respective category to confirm products are purchased in stores
Analysis of sell-through performance to the global BU’s and contribute to strategic planning based on that analysis
Support in the trend analysis and ensure feedback is collected and sent to business units consistently
Work with Global Operations on in-season reactivity
Make recommendations to the Head of Merchandising and market teams regarding best sellers
Your Profile
Strong experience with international merchandising/buying within a successful fashion retail organisation
Knowledge of the retail & wholesale channels
Strong analytical skills
Structured, organized and process orientated
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively within a team environment and under pressure
Fluent in English, an additional language is an advantage
