Job Details:
This role is to support the Global Retail teams profitable growth by designing and developing training content for the Retail organization. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to instructional design projects for technical and non-technical, as well as international audiences, based on robust needs analysis. Develop engaging and exciting learning content for a variety of learning delivery methodologies (e.g., self-paced, instructor-lead, train-the-trainer, eLearning, etc.), based on reference materials and in collaboration with various Subject Matter Experts. Ensure all design documents and instructional content adhere to design and content style guides while also ensuring consistency, clarity of presentation and concise writing style across many different interventions. Act as primary client contact - building relationships with key clients and potential clients/influencers. Estimate and propose on scope of design and development tasks for the purpose of project planning and prioritization. Communicate regularly with the Sr. Global Retail Field T&D Design Manager on status of projects and raise any concerns or issues immediately. Key Relationships: Global Store Operations Global Retail HR Team HR Competence Centers Regional Retail HR and Training teams Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design principles Project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to absorb large quantity of technical data and put it into a logical narrative structure Good presentational style Excellent people skills Minimum Qualifications: Expert level English (native preferred) Advanced to Expert level in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) University education in Business, Retail, HR, Training or OD Minimum 3 years of experience as an instructional designer (retail industry with focus on both field and back office training, preferred) Forward your CV for immediate consideration and the chance to join this fantastic retailer. |
