Recognised as the leading and most influential retailing franchisee in the region the company is currently looking to expand its operations in the Middle East and are looking for a Business Manager; a confident communicator, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service within a branded environment with a track record of coaching & developing teams. Today the Casual Dining Division of Alshaya includes renowned brands such as Dean & Deluca, Le Pain Quotidien, Sarai, Asha's, The Gaucho Grill, Pizza Express, Totally Fish, Al Forno, Thai Chi, Noodle Factory, Meias, Nolita Pizza, Dondurma, IZ Juice, Santoor, Shangai Express etc Reporting to the Vice President and based in Alshaya's Head Office in Kuwait, the retained candidate will be given the mandate to successfully develop one or several brands throughout the Middle East Region. Job Summary To lead strategic brand development & business planning To review performance of the brand objectives and standards To manage delivery of optimum ongoing sales and cost performance To maintain brand/partner relationships To be responsible for setting product and pricing strategy To manage the brand location strategy To oversee brand marketing communication tools to use and timing To provide team development and leadership To be responsible for team succession planning To share best practices and ensure that they are rolled out in all key performance areas of operations To be fully accountable for the P&L delivery To lead at team of; Operations, Area, Training, and Marketing direct reports Minimum Professional Experience 10-15 years gained in dining (including a minimum of 5 years in management positions) - passionate for food Previous background in fine/casual/QSR dining operations Preferably with some multi-national experience Education A Business Administration Degree would be appreciated (not compulsory) experience prevails Others/Soft Skills Proven track record in delivering success through team work Excellent communicator Commercially astute and profit driven "Driven" Mindset Strong Casual Dining knowledge Results Focused "Can Do" attitude Package is market leading and progressional opportunity is excellent. |
