Leading Brand requires a strong Arabic fluent Area Manager with excellent diverse retail experience in mainstream brands. Multi site of 30 + stores is a must as well as the ability to deliver sales through team development. Your role will be to:- • Agree delivery of the annual plan and associated budget for Sales, monitor performance against this, initiating corrective action where necessary to ensure operations are conducted within the agreed financial parameters. • Develop effective sales, promotion & discounting strategies and ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place to cover key areas of retail sales activity and effective systems are in place for monitoring compliance with all procedures to ensure effective working at all times. • Identify business opportunities and trends by analyzing consumer behaviour by product line and geographic location through customer profiles to ensure that all opportunities are exploited in an efficient and timely manner. • Identify operational issues for effective of internal marketing (events, new product launches, promotions, etc.) and coordinate to ensure proper work processes and systems are in place to achieve the marketing objectives. • Analyze profitability by individual stores and brand/ product line within each store to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved by selecting right product brands to fit the consumer profile of the store • Manage the training, development and motivation of staff in the Sales & Operations and ensure that the stores are staffed with the requisite numbers and calibre of staff to meet its objective and that all staff is encouraged to maximize their capability and contribution. Person Specification: • The jobholder requires a background in retail. • Proven track record in the field of Sales and Retailing. • Good people management and communication skills with high technical expertise in related product lines. • Specialized sales management training and expertise typically gained over a period of at least 8 years. |
